Primary SchoolPrimary School
Our Primary School provides a high quality and integrated education for children in the primary years and ensures the children are better prepared for later learning in secondary school as well as for lifelong learning.
Our instructional method is steeped in our site developed curriculum which is a hybrid of the National Curriculum of England with a healthy dose of the Nigerian culture infused into it. We believe that the child connects best with Nigerian History and our Cultural Values.
We aim to challenge your child’s imagination, foster critical thinking, encourage discovery and nurture a lifelong love for learning. Our work model encourages the development of the total child and our focus is on English, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social sciences, Civics, Moral and Christian religious education, the Arts – Visual Arts and Music, Physical and Health Education, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development.
The curriculum is integrated, demanding and experiential and it equips all our learners with skills that embrace the challenging and dynamic needs of the 21st Century inclusive of collaboration and technology enabled learning modules. This, creates an optimal learning environment for children to fulfil their learning objectives.
Our Primary Students are introduced to new concepts in small or large groups. Each introductory class is hands-on and experiential thus, improving the children’s understanding and keeping their interest during the lesson and beyond.
Our Methodology is individualized and the children learn from the adults, the environment and most importantly they learn from themselves. They typically get home work every week as an extension of the curriculum and as means to test they recall skills.
The children enjoy a perfect blend of abstract and hands on expressive learning and they are introduced to new concepts in small or large groups.
