Elementary/ Primary School

Elementary Unit:

Our Elementary program (Primary School) provides a high quality and integrated early education for children in the primary years and ensures the children are better prepared for admission into secondary school as well as for lifelong learning.

Our instructional method is steeped in our site developed curriculum which is a hybrid of the British Curriculum with a healthy dose of the Nigerian culture infused into it.

We aim to challenge your child's imagination, foster critical thinking, encourage discovery and nurture a lifelong love for learning. Our work model encourages the development of the total child and our focus is on language arts, math, science, social science, civics, moral and Christian religious education, the arts, music, fine and gross motor skills and personal and social development.

The curriculum is integrated, demanding and experiential and it equips all our learners with skills that embrace the challenging and dynamic needs of the 21st Century. Thus, creating an optimal learning environment for children to fulfil their learning objectives.

Our Elementary learners are introduced to new concepts in small or large groups. Each introductory class is hands-on and experiential thus, improving the children's understanding and keeping their interest during the lesson and beyond.

Our Methodology is individualized and the children learn from the adults, the environment and most importantly they learn from themselves. They typically get home work every week as an extension of the curriculum and as means to test they recall skills.

The children enjoy a perfect blend of abstract and hands on expressive learning and they are introduced to new concepts in small or large groups. Each introductory class is hands-on and structured around the AMT and LFU/LBD models, hence, experiential in nature and targeted at improving the children's understanding and keeping them interested during the lesson and beyond.
